According to CTO experts, this phenomenon has a positive impact on both the tourism industry and the country's economy. Property owners visit the country several times a year. This category of tourists is especially welcome in winter, when Cyprus has a low tourist season. In addition, property owners actively spend money and invite their friends and acquaintances to the island. Therefore, the CTO welcomes this trend.
