A fireplace will fit perfectly into the interior of a country house
If you have to create conditions for heat to finally settle in the house from scratch, you should follow several rules:
• do not skimp (the more expensive a heating system is to install, the more reliable it is). It is better to save on its operation – that is, choose a system with inexpensive energy sources – gas, coal, firewood;
• duplicate the main heating system – stoves, heaters, etc.;
• try to make the heating system elements fit into the interior design of the house.
The last point is very important. After all, one must consider that a country house is a higher standard of living than an apartment. So you should not forget about such a concept as 'coziness'. In short, let heating participate in creating the interior. After all, on wood-burning fireplace photos you can place, and they themselves, properly finished (tiles, decorative brick, stylish wrought-iron grille), become the center of the living room, a cozy corner.
Duplication is no less important: if one heating system fails, a second, backup system must always be ready to work. Thus, heating from a gas boiler can be duplicated by a stove – with a corresponding supply of firewood. Or by the same fireplace – only a real one. Indeed, prices for decorative fireplaces are sometimes too high – it is better to pay extra but get a working means of heating.
Among the most troublesome in installing heating systems in a country house, the following deserve special attention:
• gas (but it is far from always possible to connect the house to a centralized gas supply system);
• wood or coal;
• autonomous electric (from a liquid fuel generator).
There are no problems at all with installing electric heating. However, its operating cost more than outweighs the speed of installation.
The choice of heating type also depends on what kind of house you built. A wooden house tends more towards installing a stove or fireplace (despite the fact that hot water supply is done separately). Brick houses can be equipped with all types of boilers.
