Real estate in Bulgaria continues to attract many foreign investors

In other words, dealing with real estate, we encounter a loss-free source of investment, as well as a highly profitable platform for investing. Thus, fixing prices within a given price corridor fosters a high rate of return on investments and deposits.

Meanwhile, the real estate market in Bulgaria, which is in particular demand, is developing along its own path and, as a result, is not without its own trends, different from global ones. At the same time, prices for buying an apartment in Bulgaria remain affordable for many of our compatriots who have decided to invest in foreign real estate.

Direction of demand

Strangely enough, recently there has been a sharp increase in new construction of elite housing of both closed and classic type. Wealthy people are still not willing to settle for less, which is why buying a villa in Bulgaria by the sea is possible only at an inflated price, if we are talking about an elite area within the city but along the coastline.

This trend is fueled by the unwaning zeal of our compatriots for luxury and comfort, beautiful landscapes and gentle sun. Moreover, about 20% of wealthy buyers are people of retirement age who want to actively spend their mature years. However, this is not surprising, as it is in Bulgaria that there are many opportunities not only to significantly improve one's health, but also to prolong youth and beauty for many years to come.

The next area of demand is secondary real estate at a low price for development, as well as the purchase of plots to develop one's own business abroad. Remarkably, moving one's business to a European country with high stability today serves as an example of foresight and insight. Given the current volatility of economic structures, sometimes one has to look for more stable platforms for quality earnings, and Bulgaria can become just such a platform.

How justified is such confidence? The development of infrastructures, small and medium businesses, growth in new housing construction, increase in tourist flow to the country, creation of new jobs, as well as easing of visa regime and participation in the EU – all this highlights the expediency of moving business to Bulgaria.

Of course, one could go on listing the conditions for progress of this country for quite some time, but wisdom is that it’s better to see and evaluate for yourself once than to trust sugary advertising. Check, move, buy!
