Thailand is beautiful at any time of year
Interestingly, Western tourists do not consider Thailand an unsuitable country for a summer holiday and go there boldly. Czechs and Germans also vacation in Thailand in summer. And if they vacation, then why are Russian tourists any worse? So let's start dispelling misconceptions.
Let's start with the weather. The rainy season begins in May and ends in October, and in the north of the country the rains are indeed quite heavy. But in the south of the country, these are light showers, at most half an hour, usually in the morning and evening. Those who have arranged for themselves a summer holiday in Thailand photo will show boldly – and there will surely be a beach and not too many people. The number of tourists in Thailand in summer is noticeably lower than in winter. And for most, this will be a serious plus, as well as reduced prices for tours due to lower demand.
Many consider summer an unsuitable time because of the heat, but in reality the temperature is unlikely to rise above +35. Considering that in the southern regions of our vast homeland, over forty degrees in summer is almost the norm, +30 will seem like blissful coolness. The temperature at the resort never drops below +23, and high humidity will rather be a plus. And at famous resorts such as Pattaya, Samui and others located in the southwest, climate changes will not be very noticeable at all.
True, at some resorts the wind picks up in summer. Samui and Phuket become a paradise for surfing fans, though this is not every day, and when swimming or going deep is undesirable, warning flags are set. High waves make ocean swimming undesirable, but there will be quite a lot of people with boards, and you can watch what it's like to ride the waves and, perhaps, decide to try it yourself someday.
After a holiday, travel reports are full of photos of the ocean, waves and, most importantly, amazing vegetation that plays with all shades of green, rejoicing in the rainy season. But the main thing is that in summer, despite the price reduction caused by a decrease in tourist flow, the quality of service in hotels does not drop. It's simply not customary there.
