Any holiday can be celebrated festively
What we are used to at home – scale, noise, alcohol, the bang of firecrackers – is not always welcome abroad. In urban areas in Europe, you will not be allowed to set off fireworks at night, but outside the city it might be possible, although an official permit would be required. Tourists staying in bungalows on islands or renting private villas find it much easier to negotiate with administrators. Therefore, if you want a noisy celebration with guests, it is worth renting separate buildings away from neighbors for a few days.
A sense of celebration requires decoration and décor. Balloon decorations are suitable for any event, easy to make, and inexpensive. Unlike pyrotechnics, balloons can be brought abroad and made into decorations on site. Balloons go well with garlands of flowers, compositions of tree branches, ribbons, and are appropriate both on an open terrace and in a spacious hall.
If a group of tourists is celebrating at a seaside resort, seashells can add an exotic touch to the room décor, while for an open terrace, torches can be ordered for the evening. Painted scarves brought from home will add a Russian flavor.
Depending on the conditions of the celebration, alcohol, snacks, and fruits can be ordered at a restaurant or bought at a supermarket (which is more economical). If you feel like singing, it is better to bring karaoke discs and rent equipment on site, and it is more convenient to dance to the hits of invited musicians.
The easiest way to save on pyrotechnics is to combine the celebration with an international fireworks festival, of which there are countless: Poland, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, Croatia, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Czech Republic, and China regularly hold them. Competitions of pyrotechnics professionals will make the celebration especially memorable and also ensure the safety of spectators from defective firecrackers.
But you can also order your own fireworks – even while still in Russia – from a specialized company that organizes such off-site events. This pleasure will cost a certain amount, but is quite affordable for a large group of friends who do not want to organize everything themselves.
