So many articles have been written on this topic: authors give advice to brides, where, how, and when to best hold this celebration. They write in detail about how to choose wedding dresses and the groom (so that he best sets off the bride's beauty). But this article is different – we will try to see the wedding through the groom's eyes.
What the bride eagerly awaits all her life, plans and envisions in rosy hues, the man awaits with fear. For the stronger half of humanity, the wedding day is one of the most terrifying periods in his life… And what about the wedding preparations? Not only does the bride rush around the city in search of a wedding dress, flowers, a banquet hall, but there is also the need to sort out the guest list.
How hard it is for our men to understand why it is necessary to invite an elderly aunt with a bunch of relatives, instead of your friends, with whom you spent your entire wild bachelor life and now wanted to have a blast with them at your wedding. The future husband doesn't understand why throw a party for guests, when it's better to quietly sign and drink a couple of bottles of beer at home, and after a week take off, for example, to Antalya. But what the groom tries to avoid, the bride awaits all her life: attention. After all, she will be the princess of the ball, all the guests' attention will be focused on her person, while the groom will have to accompany her everywhere and mentally pray that this day passes quickly.
There is another point – photos for memory. For example, the wedding will proceed roughly according to this scenario: photo shoots at the registry office, in the park, by the sea, and then a series of monuments. And at each one, you must lay flowers with a mournful face, stand for a couple of minutes for some reason, drink, and then move on with the retinue in search of another monument or memorial.
By evening, our groom turns from a frisky steed into a driven horse. He no longer has the strength to smile, kiss to the cries of 'Bitter!', let alone participate in contests. Having reached home, the head of the newly-formed family is unable to endure the wedding night; he dreams of a sound sleep.
But all is not so bad. If you minimize the grandeur of the event and try to take into account the groom's wishes, then, as they say, the wolves are fed (the bride) and the sheep are whole (the groom). May only the most pleasant memories of your wedding remain.
