A couple of years ago, many clubs in Dnepropetrovsk positioned themselves as elite establishments, where only a select audience was allowed, entry was strictly by card, and it was simply unrealistic for an ordinary visitor to get into an expensive venue for the 'golden public'. Now the situation has fundamentally changed.
The process, so to speak, of democratization, as a trend of the new times, came to the restaurants and hotels of Dnepropetrovsk, and, of course, to the city's nightclubs. This does not mean that the same club 'Bartolomeo' lets in everyone indiscriminately, by no means. But here they are always glad to see the 'golden', the 'silver', and ordinary youth, not necessarily adorned with precious metals. As long as they are solvent, behave appropriately, show friendliness and optimism.
Such selection allowed establishing a new age limit for the main audience – youth from 18 to 36 years. To say that the number of more mature visitors decreased would be a lie. Fears about the coexistence of two age groups – youth and older people – in the club turned out to be completely unfounded. Successful businessmen aged over 40 and even over 50 easily 'coexist' in the creative club 'Bartolomeo' (Creative Club Bartolomeo) with carefree youth. Moreover, monitoring showed a positive reaction from the older category of visitors, who actually liked the increased number of young people in the club. On more than one occasion, joint events were organized for them, such as discos, Easter celebrations, Victory Day. They also casually coexist on the tennis courts, in the pool, at the yacht club, and in other sectors of the entertainment center 'Bartolomeo'.
And importantly, over the past year and a half to two years, during which the club 'Bartolomeo' has been focusing on youth, not a single conflict or trouble has arisen on this grounds. It turns out that people understand each other perfectly and willingly relax together. Of course, a significant role is played by the administration and managers of the nightclub, who pursue a subtle policy in this regard. However, at the heart lies the natural desire of young men and women to be closer to established and successful people, to take a closer look at them, to get acquainted, to make friends, to learn something from them. On the other hand, there is a sincere desire to be, as they say, closer to the people: to communicate with the younger generation, to have fun, to remember one's youth.
All this happens naturally, casually, and most importantly, friendly – in accordance with the long-standing and good traditions of the nightclub 'Bartolomeo'.
