From exotic countries you can bring not only vivid impressions but also problems
These uninvited guests obtain nourishment from the host's body, and as a "thank you" they poison it with the products of their vital activity, causing discomfort, intoxication, serious damage to organs and systems, and exacerbating and maintaining dysbiosis.
Know your enemy by sight
More than 4.5 billion people worldwide suffer from helminths (worms) and other parasites. In Eastern European countries, there is almost universal infection of the population with worms. At the same time, many regions lack effective diagnosis, affordable and safe antiparasitic drugs.
It is hard to find a more disgusting creature that has uniquely adapted to inhabit everything that surrounds humans. Moreover, parasites, compared to other microorganisms, are less vulnerable and accessible. Worm eggs can persist for years. Helminths are distinguished by enormous fertility (for example, a female roundworm can lay up to 200 thousand eggs per day).
That's what parasites are
In the process of evolution, helminths, whose individuals are characterized by a long lifespan (years), have developed the ability to mask themselves when penetrating the host's body. Helminths are distinguished by their ability to suppress (modify) the host's immune response, which provokes exacerbation of chronic diseases. Without consulting a parasitologist, not every doctor can make a correct diagnosis in time. This is because at an early stage most worm infestations occur in a hidden form. They often reveal themselves when effective treatment is already difficult.
No one is immune to parasites, but children and the elderly suffer from them especially. Worms deplete the body by absorbing the most nutritionally valuable components of food, as well as lymph and blood. Adult parasites and larvae can actively move through the body, affecting the lungs, kidneys, liver, brain, and even eyes.
Worms cause intestinal disorders, constipation, flatulence, intoxication, weight loss, increased fatigue, drowsiness, and weakness. They provoke dyskinesia of the intestines and biliary tract, intestinal obstruction, appendicitis. Parasite infestation leads to the development of immunodeficiency, allergic reactions, inflammatory diseases that become chronic, reduced resistance to viral and bacterial infections.
Detect and neutralize
Worms are detected based on clinical-epidemiological and laboratory data. The most obvious among them are the presence of parasite eggs and larvae in feces and perianal fold scrapings. Histological examination of feces for the presence of helminths and the vegetative resonance test are quite effective. In some cases, the use of biochemical, immunological, endoscopic, and radiological diagnostic methods is required.
In case of worm infection, the entire family must be treated. Depending on the type of parasite and the damage it causes, chemotherapy drugs, herbal medicine, homeopathic remedies, ozone therapy, etc. may be used. During treatment, the doctor may prescribe antihistamines, painkillers, antipyretics, cyclooxygenase inhibitors, and calcium salts.
Folk medicine recommends eating pumpkin seeds, sauerkraut juice, carrot juice, and tansy decoction. And most importantly, do not forget about hygiene and monitor the quality of prepared food. Pets should also be given regular deworming medication.
