More and more tourists are heading to Russia's northern latitudes
The north of Russia can offer a curious tourist not only these pleasures, but also those that are hard to imagine in advance until you go on an excursion to Karelia, an ecological tour to Kargopolye, an extreme hike to the shores of the White Sea, or a trip to the historical Solovki, famous for their terrible history.
A wonderful start to getting to know this part of Russia would be tours to St. Petersburg – the Northern Palmyra, the second Russian capital, once the center of the best minds of the great empire.
