The cheapest, yet the most expensive type of vacation

A vacation in the bosom of nature is more valuable than the most expensive resorts in the world

Exactly! Don't forget to take a butterfly net – it will be the children's favorite activity.

If you can't seem to manage a vacation at a foreign resort, by the sea or in the mountains this summer, and even inexpensive last-minute tours are beyond your budget? Don't despair – if we can't change the circumstances, we need to change our attitude towards them. Or better yet, change those very circumstances.

Any tour operator can offer not only foreign tours but also vacations in your native region. For example, you can live for two or three weeks in a rural estate or a lonely farmstead in the forest. Naturally, the children won't ride the "banana" boat on the waves, there won't be cotton candy and amusement park rides at night, but…

But early in the morning you and your son will go fishing, listen to the birds singing and discuss his childhood topics. At home, there is no time for heart-to-heart talks, and the TV constantly interrupts the conversation, but here nature itself encourages communication.

And then together you will cook fish soup, go mushroom picking, and take breathtaking photos. Then together you will process the photos and upload them to your family website, which you will also create together. And if the quality is good, you can even place these unique nature shots in a photo bank and earn some money for your next trip in a year. There is one concern – next summer you might want to come back here, where birds sing in the morning, where the water in the well is so good that you forget about Coca-Cola, mineral water, and even beer.

Here you forget about long flights and online hotel bookings, you don't worry about whether you have enough money to vacation "like a human" and try all the delicacies of the host country – the village store has canned stew and buckwheat, in the neighboring village you can buy carrots, potatoes, milk, and cottage cheese from grandma for pennies. And you yourself pick a basket of mushrooms and berries every day, the garden is full of apples, plums, cherries, and pears.

The wife doesn't nag with or without reason – she also calms her nerves by watching the sunrise and filming the dragonfly playing with the float.

Yes, yes, yes – there's no jacuzzi, no disco to show off new shoes and a dress, but you can swim in the clear river, go to a real Russian banya at the neighbors' in the village, and cook lunch as a family in a Russian stove, watching the burning firewood.

Fire, water, stones – just observing these natural phenomena truly calms and heals the nerves, takes away all our ailments and bad mood, something no resort can boast of.
