The leader of the ranking was Italy. There, 106,513 properties received the highest guest ratings. In second place was Spain (46,646 hotel properties), and in third place was France (45,286). Next came Germany (36,042), the USA (35,626), Croatia (34,027), the UK (31,206), Russia (26,729), Poland (26,572), and Brazil (24,477).
Additionally, as reported by Vinegret.cz, Booking named the most hospitable countries in the world. This considered both direct guest recommendations and the share of quality accommodations relative to their total number. The leaders of the study were Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, New Zealand, Taiwan, Romania, Hungary, Ireland, Serbia, and Greece.
