As Interfax-Ukraine reports, Markiyan Lubkivsky reminded that in order to minimize the negative consequences of introducing a visa regime between Ukraine and Romania, in December 2003 an intergovernmental agreement on the conditions of mutual travel of citizens was signed in Kyiv, which provides for a simplified visa issuance procedure. According to him, visas will be issued without presentation of an invitation. It is also provided that a number of categories of Ukrainian citizens will receive visas free of charge.
