Christmas trade in Sweden broke all previous records

According to statistics, the most popular gifts of Christmas 2002 were televisions, digital cameras and DVD players. Sales of these goods increased compared to Christmas 2001 by 25% in Siba chain stores and by 10% in On Off chain stores. Books were also popular among Swedes, with almost 25% more sold this Christmas than during the previous Christmas holidays, reports IA Rosbalt.
