A German resolved to divide property with his ex-wife in a very unusual way
According to "Russkaya Germaniya", to realize his idea, he resorted to a simple but effective method: a circular saw, with which he cut all the joint property. The young man, who decided to spite his ex-other half in this way, filmed the entire "sawing" process and then uploaded the video to the internet. The video opens with a caption: "Thank you for the 'wonderful' twelve years, Laura! You truly deserve half of everything!"
Now all the "halved" items are put up for sale on the eBay online auction. Each lot is accompanied by a caustic comment. "I am selling a small, adorable teddy bear; it is a victim of divorce, so only half of it is presented. Size: 10-20 cm, age recommendation: perfect for a midlife crisis!" Commenting on the half of a green Opel put up for sale, the Berliner claims he does not know what his ex-wife will do with it. "Her new boyfriend is motorized in the most impressive way," writes the disgruntled ex-husband.
Currently, dozens of potential buyers have already registered for the lots offered by the Berliner, who calls himself "Dr. July." It is claimed that the auction, which is attracting huge attention throughout Germany (almost 4 million visitors!), will last about a week, and, for example, the sawed-off piece of car is offered for pickup in Berlin.
Meanwhile, shortly after the information about the unusual solution to the property division issue appeared in the press, the German Bar Association commented on the situation. According to the association's press secretary, the whole story was fabricated. "This is just a PR stunt that should once again remind all residents of Germany of the legal consequences of divorce. Couples currently think little about this, even though it is a very serious matter," the German lawyers, who have shown themselves in an unexpected light, now claim.
