Of course, the easiest way is to buy a tour package, then you don't have to plan the excursion route yourself, call all the hotels of St. Petersburg to book a room, buy plane or train tickets. Yet, despite the undoubted advantages, an organized tour also has its downsides.
First, you won't be able to choose the excursions that interest you most. Tour companies usually offer excursions to the "landmark places" of cities, but in the northern capital there are a great many such points. There are 150 museums in this city alone! After all, the season of "White Nights" and warm days in the Northwestern region is very short, and the city of St. Petersburg is so beautiful that it attracts a huge number of people from different countries. Therefore, booking a hotel room is as essential a travel attribute as a train ticket or a passport.
