Czech Konopiště is one of the most beautiful castles in the world
One of the most beautiful palaces in the world and in the Czech Republic is Konopiště. The interior of the palace impresses not only with its refinement and magnificence, but also with the presence of a huge number of hunting trophies left after the last owner. Until 1914, the palace was owned by the family of Prince Ferdinand d'Este. He was known as an avid hunter, so avid that in just 30 years of his life he killed 170,000 animals! In 1914, the prince was killed by a follower of the revolutionary movement, and along with him his pregnant wife, Princess Sophie, was shot.
That is the sad story associated with this castle. After the death of the last owners, almost nothing has changed here. By the way, real estate prices in Panama, the Caribbean islands, and any hot countries are strikingly different from real estate prices in the Czech Republic. Even in Moscow or on the Black Sea coast, the price of a one-room apartment will be higher than here for a two-room apartment. And luxury real estate is not much different in price category. Here a castle costs as much as a Moscow penthouse.
The Czech Republic is a treasure trove of silver. And this treasure is located in the town of Kutná Hora, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
