Today, young people have many opportunities for short-term trips abroad.
Today, students have a fairly wide choice of ways to temporarily leave the country. The most reliable of these is the youth exchange program. Among the most famous and well-proven ones are Work & Travel USA, Internship, Au Pair, Academic Year Program. All of them allow students to go abroad for a short period of time for the purpose of study, work, improving language skills, etc. Each program has certain features.
Work & Travel USA. During summer vacation, students are given the opportunity to go to the USA to gain work experience in America. Accordingly, the program is also interesting for those who want to improve their English and get acquainted with American culture. Work & Travel USA includes a month of travel around the country, so there is a great opportunity to get to know the main attractions of the United States of America.
Internship. The main function of this program is to gain work experience abroad for 4th-5th year students in their major. Duration of stay is 18 months. Students who go abroad under this program receive a stipend (from 1200 to 1500 conventional units). In addition, there is the possibility of remote work (for example, website promotion).
Au Pair. This program will be of interest primarily to students of pedagogical universities. Its essence is that a student arriving in a certain country lives with a host family and performs simple housework (childcare, cooking, etc.). The main advantage of Au Pair is that the cost of the program is fully offset by the money earned from work, and the student in turn gains enormous life experience, significantly improves their foreign language skills, and gets acquainted with the culture of the country.
Academic Year Program. A program for schoolchildren aged 15 to 18. It is possible to spend the entire academic year in an American family, study at an ordinary American high school. In addition, schoolchildren with certain knowledge in the field of IT technologies can earn money by creating resources. One of the main types of income for foreign schoolchildren is creating and promoting a website, in which most of our teenagers often succeed.
