Sociological studies show: representatives of certain professions are prone to marital infidelity
As “Russkaya Germaniya” writes, it has been statistically proven that women employed in finance (bankers and brokers), aviation (pilots and flight attendants), healthcare (doctors and nurses), economics (managers and secretaries), sports (athletes and coaches), arts (musicians, artists, actresses), communications (journalists and PR managers), as well as the entertainment industry (dancers, waitresses, DJs) are most often involved in marital infidelity.
Two-thirds of the 5,000 women surveyed by the magazine confirmed having committed adultery directly at the workplace, justifying it with a simple combination: convenience and accessibility. It is worth noting that 85% of respondents spoke out against an affair with a boss, as they believe it often leads to unpredictable consequences and can harm their career.
According to the Department of Psychology at the University of Göttingen, headed by Professor Ragnar Beer, German women cheat on their spouses more often than men. Based on the results of studies conducted over the past decade, the ratio is 38.9% to 37.1%. The reason for this, Professor Beer believes, is not only sexual dissatisfaction with intimate life in one's own bedroom, but also the increased needs of professionally successful women for social communication.
