Statement of the Embassy on the issue of issuing visas to residents of Ukraine

The Czech Republic, like all members of the European Union, does not recognize the annexation of Crimea by the Russian Federation. All residents of the territory of Ukraine wishing to obtain a Schengen visa from the Czech Republic must continue to submit visa applications only at the consular departments of the diplomatic missions of the Czech Republic in Ukraine or at visa centers in Ukraine.
