The nearly 5-minute video "Holiday in Poland" presents Polish cities and landscapes
The video was created by a private company that worked on it for nearly three years. "The first edit of the film came out a year ago. However, we were not completely satisfied and continued shooting new locations. In fact, to this day we have not managed to capture everything we wanted. Often the reason was bad weather," says one of the project authors and operator of the remotely controlled camera, Jacek Drofiak.
The drone used for the footage weighs about 12 kilograms. The flying device is equipped with a Red Scarlet cinema camera and a remotely controlled zoom technology. The machine was operated by two, and sometimes even three, people at the same time.
According to Polskie Radio, the authors of the film are two friends who have been doing aerial filming since 2004: cameraman Jacek Drofiak and pilot, champion (1995) and multiple medalist of the Polish Championship in unmanned aerial vehicle control, Artur Gajdziński.
