Poland to update migration package

As reported by Polskie Radio, the country's authorities are also working on simplifying the process of employing foreigners in Poland. According to the Deputy Minister of Investment and Development of Poland, the process of issuing certificates and permits to foreigners takes too much time, and the need to employ foreign citizens is becoming more urgent every day.

"The most important thing is that an entrepreneur who wants to hire a worker from abroad can legally employ him in a simpler way. Today, the process of issuing certificates, confirmations and permits, from the perspective of employers, takes too much time," noted Angelika Możdżanowska.

The new documents on Poland's migration policy provide for foreign workers to have the opportunity to attend educational courses, for example, Polish language, as well as to be allocated apartments from the "Housing Plus" program by agreement between entrepreneurs and local self-government bodies.
