What criteria to use when choosing children's bedding?

By choosing the right bedding, you will provide your baby with comfort and a gentle touch of fabric during rest.

The key to sound sleep can be even such a small detail as a fitted sheet. This type of sheet does not bunch up, meaning it does not wrinkle and the child will not get tangled in it. If you buy a fitted sheet with a waterproof membrane, you will keep the mattress clean. But such textiles can be a bit stuffy, so weigh the pros and cons of the effect of such products.

And to ensure that rest is always comfortable, choose children's bedding from fabrics that match the season. For summer, models made of satin, calico, or bamboo are suitable. For the winter period, textiles made of terry or flannel are most suitable.

Blankets for the children's crib are also selected according to the season. Different models are bought for summer and winter. They differ not only in composition but also in the amount of filling. So, even summer textiles can be filled with sheep's wool, but with a thin layer. In summer, it is very comfortable under such a blanket; natural products never cause stuffiness because they always allow air to pass through and absorb moisture. Under such a natural blanket, it is always dry, warm, and very good to sleep!

You can buy warm blankets with high-quality synthetic fillers. They have anti-allergenic properties, which is, of course, great for children's textiles. But do not forget that any warm textile is selected not so much for the dimensions of the bed, but more for the children's bedding. It is important that the sizes match, so that the blanket inside the duvet cover does not bunch up. And it is always comfortable to cover yourself with such a product.

Natural fabrics are used not only for bedding. Bumpers for the crib and a canopy cover should preferably also be natural. This is important for the design, since all products will have the same texture and everything together will look nice and harmonious!

But the most important thing for children's textiles is the absence of toxic dyes, which not only smell unpleasant but can also provoke a number of diseases and even poisoning in a baby. By choosing certified bedding, you are getting the best for your baby!
