Unique lake in the Carpathians
A couple of years ago, an artificial reservoir appeared on the territory of Bukovel. In terms of its size, it has no analogues in Ukraine. But the main thing is not even that, but that in the summer, Lake of Youth turns into a kind of branch of the sea coast. Here, sun loungers stand in neat rows, cheerful children's laughter and the soothing sound of waves can be heard.
To relax on the shore of a mountain reservoir, it is not at all necessary to stay in hotels in Bukovel. After all, not everyone likes the constant noise and incessant bustle that reign on the territory of the resort. Near Bukovel there are several small picturesque villages. In them, it is easy to find cozy and comfortable hotels, such as the well-known hotel Koruna.
Variety of water activities in Bukovel
At Lake of Youth, everyone will find entertainment to their taste. You can simply enjoy the sun and healing air while lying in a sun lounger. But this type of beach vacation is not for everyone. For guests of the resort, much more interesting are: various water slides; jet skis; kayaks; stand-up paddleboarding; diving; wakeboarding; water skiing.
And these are only the usual water activities. But the Carpathian reservoir is also known for other types of entertainment. So, if desired, you can cross the lake using a zip line. If that is not enough, you should definitely try the pendulum - the largest swing in Ukraine. Its height is 9 meters. Still not enough drive? Then you should pay attention to rope jumping. Jumps are made from a height of 28 meters.
Special attention deserves such entertainment as Bike Zip. Everyone is invited to ride a bicycle along a cable stretched over the lake at a height of about 30 meters. The fun is absolutely safe and unique in its kind. There are no such entertainments in Europe yet.
In addition, the length of the Bukovel Bike Zip is 560 meters. And this is a record length of such a "track" in the world. So at Lake of Youth you can not only have a great rest, but also try original, and sometimes even unique, amusements.
