With the Barcelona Card you can get discounts on visiting many city establishments
BERLIN
The city card in the German capital is called CityTourCard. With it you can use public transport for free and get a discount of at least 15% on visiting 40 museums and various attractions.
Price of CityTourCard for zone AB (covers the entire center of Berlin) – 17.50 euros (2 days), 25.50 (3 days), 29.50 (4 days), 33.50 (5 days), 39.50 (6 days). Price varies depending on selected options.
VIENNA
In the Austrian capital, travelers can buy a Wien-Karte. With it you can travel on the metro, trams and buses. Moreover, it serves as an entrance ticket to more than 200 cultural and entertainment venues. Also with it tourists can save 25% on tickets to the Art Gallery (Kunsthalle), 11% on the famous Ferris wheel in Prater Park (Prater), 10% at the People's Opera (Volksoper). Additionally, there is the opportunity to eat at a discount in some restaurants.
Price of the Vienna card: 18.90 euros for 48 hours and 21.90 euros for 72 hours.
BARCELONA
The Barcelona Card offers free entry to 26 attractions, discounts at 75 museums, cultural and leisure institutions, shops, taverns and restaurants. You can use public transport for free within the city (zone 1): metro, tram, scheduled buses, Catalan railway (FGC), Spanish national railway network (RENFE). Also a free trip by train and bus No. 46 from the airport to the city is included.
Adult card price: 45 euros (3 days), 55 euros (4 days), 60 euros (5 days). Children's card (4-12 years): 21 euros (3 days), 27 euros (4 days), 32 euros (5 days).
ROME
For those who come to the Italian capital for at least three days, the Roma Pass can be recommended. With it you can visit museums and archaeological sites in Rome (except private ones). Entry to two museums from the list is free, to the rest – with a discount. Moreover, tourists who buy the Roma Pass can enter museums and visit attractions without queuing. This is very valuable, considering that, for example, the queue for the Colosseum can take at least an hour.
This pass allows free use of public transport in zone A: all surface transport of ATAC company, metro lines A and B, trains Roma-Lido, Roma Flaminio Piazza del Popolo-Viterbo and Roma-Giardinetti. This does not include regional trains Trenitalia, Cotral buses on routes Tiburtina/Termini-Fiumicino Aeroporto, Leonardo Express trains to and from Fiumicino airport, as well as all connections to the capital's airports Fiumicino and Ciampino.
Price of Roma Pass: 36 euros (3 days). Recall that tourists under 18 or over 65 are entitled to free admission to most monuments of Rome.
COPENHAGEN
The Kopenhagen Card offers free travel on trains, buses and metro (including airport transfer), free entry to 75 museums, discounts on many attractions, city sightseeing tours, as well as when visiting restaurants or renting cars.
The validity period of the card is counted from the moment of activation of the Kopenhagen Card in transport or from the date and time written in by the tourist. It is worth bearing in mind that many museums are closed on Mondays, and if your stay in Copenhagen falls on this day, then buying such a card hardly makes sense.
Price of Kopenhagen Card: 459 kroner for 2 days. If you consider that a daily travel pass costs 90 kroner, it becomes clear how advantageous it is to purchase the Kopenhagen Card.
GOTHENBURG
In Gothenburg they issue the Göteborg City Card, valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours. By purchasing such a card, you can use public transport for free and also get free (or discounted) entry to museums.
Price: for adults – 255 kronor for 24 hours, 295 (2 days), 335 (3 days). City Card for children and teenagers – 195, 215 and 245 kronor respectively.
LONDON
In the British capital, the London Pass is issued for tourists. With it you can visit more than 60 museums and landmark sites, including world-famous ones such as the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, the London Bridge Experience, as well as take a boat trip on the Thames (Themse-Bootsfahrt). Having a London Pass, you can use all types of public transport unlimitedly.
Price of the London Pass, which includes the price of a 160-page guide: for adults – 59 pounds for 24 hours, 79 (2 days), 85 (3 days), 109.65 (6 days). For children: 39, 59, 59.40 and 75.65 pounds respectively.
