Holidays abroad

Today, everyone can afford to go abroad for a holiday

With the collapse of the USSR and the opening of borders, citizens of the countries formed on the territory of the former Union gained the opportunity to travel abroad without hindrance. Previously, most people living in the Union knew about life abroad only from news broadcasts, the TV show "Travelers' Club", and movies. Now many have been abroad, or have acquaintances who have been there. People go abroad to live, work, study, and, of course, to relax.

The flow of tourists abroad from Russia and the CIS countries has been steadily growing since the early nineties. Traditional destinations have become countries of the Arab world (Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey), as well as Southeast Asia (Thailand, Singapore). The countries of Europe, Japan, the USA, Israel, and India remain attractive to tourists.

If a person has used the services of a travel agency, then this issue is partially or completely resolved. Depending on the company's package, you can choose your holiday program – visiting museums, landmarks, and unique natural sites.

If a person decides to travel independently (as a "savage"), then some difficulties arise, but there is complete freedom of action. The best option for independent travel is a country where no visa is required. Just buy a ticket, go through customs – and that's it, besides money, nothing else seems to be needed. But it is recommended to familiarize yourself with the chosen country before the trip. Read literature or watch documentaries about its history, culture, customs, and learn about the legislation. If possible, ask those who have already been there.

And, of course, knowledge of the local language or good command of English is important. Language proficiency saves you from many problems that can arise if you don't know it. Knowledge of such everyday things as, for example, traffic rules, mains voltage, and the specifics of national cuisine is also very important.

Today, with the help of the Internet, you can see any corner of the planet. So planning a route is not difficult. Also, using the World Wide Web, you can easily book a hotel room, rent a car, find out the opening hours of museums, and do many other things that ensure a quality holiday.
