Holidays in Russia as a Worthy Alternative to European Ones

Holidays in Russia as a Worthy Alternative to European Ones

Cruises on the calm waters of the Volga have recently been attracting more and more tourists

So many songs and poems have been composed about the great mother Volga, yet most Russians have never even seen it. How much have we heard about the world's largest freshwater lake, Baikal, but have never breathed the clean air of its surroundings.

Cruises on seas, rivers, and lakes have recently become a particularly popular direction in tourism. What could be more wonderful than sailing on a comfortable ship through native lands and breathing in the Russian spirit with full lungs? That is where the patriotism of the people lies! Love for the country must be felt by exploring all its hidden corners, even though we know that Russia is vast.

The advantage of a Russian vacation is that you don't need to rack your brains over visa processing, obtaining a foreign passport, spending a lot of time studying the culture and learning the laws of another country, learning the language, exchanging currency, etc. Russia will provide you with both a beach holiday and the opportunity to engage in extreme sports.

Many areas, particularly in the Caucasus, are adapted for ski resorts (Krasnaya Polyana, Prielbrusye, Dombai), where you can spend a winter holiday successfully. The nature and landscape of our native land have given us incomparable mineral springs, on the territory of which various health resorts and sanatoriums have been established. Each of them has its own experienced and attentive medical staff. Under their careful supervision, you can overcome many ailments. Here you can also rest your soul after hard working days, relieve nervous tension, and rush back into battle with renewed strength.

Many hotels in the country will offer you European-style service (restaurants, pools, spa salons, etc.), luxurious apartments. In popular tourist countries, you won't find a single free spot, especially at the height of the season. In Russia, you can get lost in some paradise corner, away from the urban bustle, in a forest thicket, where cozy wooden houses with a wonderful recreation area will warm your soul much better than the Turkish sun. The prices, of course, are incomparable. Why overpay in another country for the same services that you can get at home?!

You have probably also heard about the Golden Ring, which includes the enduring legendary cities: Rostov, Sergiyev Posad, Kostroma, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Suzdal, and others. Tours of these cities will immerse you in the depths of Russian history; the preserved monuments of architecture, construction, culture, and everyday life of our ancestors will undoubtedly instill love and respect for their country even in the youngest tourists.
