Tours to Sicily - a trip to the island of dreams
It is impossible not to fall in love with this place; it is unforgettable, and once you visit Sicily, you will want to come back again. If you want to spend your holiday in Sicily, you will make the right choice. Sicilians are a very hospitable and friendly people, so if you get lost or need some information, locals will always be ready to help.
In spring, Sicily turns into a large blooming bouquet; the island's flora is very rich and diverse and can make your head spin with a riot of colors and intoxicating aromas that spread over a great distance.
Tourists start swimming in the sea already from mid-May, when the water warms up to 18 degrees, although locals start swimming from the second half of June, and before that they just go to the beach to sunbathe. The sea heats up slowly, but also cools down slowly, retaining warmth until November, and even in December it can be around 20 degrees.
The climate on the island is subtropical Mediterranean. In summer, the air is hot and humid, with temperatures reaching 45 degrees in July-August; such extreme temperatures are more easily tolerated on the coast, where the fresh sea breeze helps to bear the heat better. However, tourists for whom such conditions are contraindicated should not go to Sicily at this time of year.
Winter on the island is warm and short, with temperatures around 13 degrees, but it often rains and the weather is quite windy. Due to high humidity, the air always feels colder than it actually is. The optimal holiday in Sicily is possible from May to October.
Even the most demanding tourist will be able to choose a suitable beach, since in different parts of Sicily the beaches and the sea have their own unique features: there is a more transparent sea, somewhere it is inhabited by many colorful fish that live right near the shore, in some places the sea has an emerald color. These differences have formed due to different types of coastline. Beaches with black and white sand, rocky and pebble beaches – Sicily gives tourists the opportunity to choose the place that appeals to them most.
When visiting the beach, make sure you have appropriate footwear, as the sand and stones heat up to very high temperatures and walking barefoot on the beach will be very uncomfortable. If you do not want to get sunburned under the hot Sicilian sun, it is better to bring a beach umbrella and a hat.
Follow these simple rules, they will help you enjoy a wonderful holiday, while maintaining your health and returning home with great memories and plenty of positive emotions, avoiding troubles.
