Everyone entering the United States is checked for immigrant intent

A tourist visa to the United States is issued based on an application form filled out online using form DS-160. The document is completed in English and contains questions regarding marital status, level of financial well-being, employment, and education. Further interview can be conducted only upon presentation of the application number.
The citizen will have to register a profile on the embassy website with personal data. After registering in your personal account, schedule an interview, specifying the passport number, the receipt number obtained when paying the consular fee at the bank, and the numbers from the barcode of form DS-160. The scheduling procedure involves providing personal data regarding family composition. Here you are also asked to indicate the delivery address for documents and provide proof of payment of the fee.
The applicant will be assigned a date for a visit to the embassy, where standard procedural questions will be asked aimed at determining their true intentions. The main task of the applicant is to convince the officer that they do not plan to immigrate to the United States, but are indeed going there on a tourist trip.
After the application is approved, the applicant is issued a passport with a visa affixed, which they pick up themselves at the office of the courier service TMM Express. It is also possible, for a small fee of 60 hryvnias, to order delivery of the passport to some Ukrainian cities. Citizens living in other localities will have to use the services of a courier service.
The most difficult part is the process of filling out the application form, which may require hiring a translator and a specialist ready to advise on key issues related to traveling to the United States. The final decision will be made by consular officers based on analysis of the application and data obtained during the interview.
