Tsakhkadzor is suitable for skiers of any level, as the slopes here are very diverse: for easy skiing with a height difference of 230 m, or black slopes with a height difference of 350 m. If you climb to the highest skiing point (2819 m), you will have a stunning view of Mount Ararat, the symbol of Armenia, and Lake Sevan, the pearl of Armenian nature.
Ski equipment is available for rent here at very low prices. For example, renting a ski set for one day costs only $10,5, and a snowboard set for $14,5. Those who wish can also hire an instructor who will teach you how to ski perfectly.

Jermuk

Generally, this cozy green town is famous for its healing mineral waters and healthful climate. But in 2007, a two-seat chairlift was built here, and the town became popular in winter as well. There are only two ski slopes: one for beginners 1400 m long and another for experienced skiers 1300 m long. All of them meet high standards.
You can rent skis and snowboards right at the lift. Renting a ski set for one day will cost $12,5, and a snowboard set for $20. At intermediate stations, guests are welcomed by cozy cafes where you can have a great snack and relax.
