When choosing a country, the following questions involuntarily arise: « Is it possible to get a higher education for free outside one's own country?», «In which countries is tuition affordable for our compatriots?». We offer you a list of countries where tuition fees at public universities are minimal or non-existent: Czech Republic, Germany, Greece.
Comparing studying abroad with education in our country, we can confidently say that in a number of European universities it is possible to get a diploma almost for free. The fee of a formal semester fee (about €150) is a ridiculously low price for high-quality and highly qualified education. Moreover, this price also includes expenses for teaching materials, photocopying of educational information, paper, etc. Note also that upon completion of the study program you can get both a bachelor's and a master's degree.
The only difficulty is the cost of accommodation and food, but sometimes the expenses are an order of magnitude lower than, for example, in Moscow. On average, for renting a housing or a dormitory room (in the European countries listed above) you will have to pay from €150 to €350 per month. Total living expenses will be around €550-750.
Another important plus is the language in which classes will be conducted. Education in the USA, as well as in Germany, can be conducted in English. Some universities provide an opportunity to quickly and cheaply learn the language of the country, and then get an education in it.
For all the simplicity of studying abroad, there are some differences between the educational systems in our country and in European countries. For example, after school you cannot enter some universities, so you should study for several courses at a domestic higher education institution, and only then transfer abroad.
Note also that having received a European-style diploma, you get a real opportunity to stay and live in the chosen country. During your studies, you are issued a residence permit, and after graduation you can even apply for citizenship.
