Not all students make it to the library... According to statistics, every fourth freshman in Germany leads a passive lifestyle. Moreover, many students do not even play sports. And 'lazy' students, it turns out, are more common among girls. Hence the excess weight, which is present in every sixth student.
German 'bottle game'
In summer there is also time for fun. Two teams with an equal number of participants play. You need a plastic bottle, a tennis ball, and beer in bottles of the same number as participants. The teams try to knock down the bottle in the center. The one that succeeds must quickly drink the beer. The opponent must put the knocked-down bottle back in place. The game continues until one of the teams drinks all the beer.

Generally, it rarely goes without beer. On the Rhine embankment in Düsseldorf, there are always many students. Here they relax at the end of the day, discuss the latest events with friends, and of course, drink beer. Germans consume their favorite drink in quite large quantities – about 100 liters per year per person on average.
Summer – season of part-time jobs
However, almost two-thirds of German students do not rest in summer but work part-time to finance their studies. Some become street musicians, others prefer to work as extras or dog walkers.

A two-wheeled friend – the constant companion of a student – helps to get everything done. By the way, in the summer of 2012, two students from Würzburg launched an unusual campaign: they sent a bamboo bicycle on a round-the-world trip.
