Affordable European Housing
The days when only a few could afford housing abroad are long gone. Now the cost of apartments in some European countries, such as Montenegro or Bulgaria, is not much different from prices at home, while the quality of construction is significantly higher.
Sometimes you can buy property in Poland cheaper than in your home capital. For example, in Warsaw you can find a two-room apartment for 70-80 thousand euros, while a one-room apartment will cost half as much (from 40 thousand euros). At the same time, the residential complex provides everything for a comfortable life: a kindergarten on site, playgrounds, parking, good transport accessibility, etc.
The price depends on several factors (location, infrastructure, etc.), but the fact that you can buy higher quality housing in another country for a similar amount remains unchanged.
Where is the best place to buy property abroad?
It is difficult to say unequivocally in which country to buy a house or apartment, since the answer depends not only on the country's pricing policy, but also on legislation and the goal that the buyer sets for themselves.
In Turkey, foreign investors are primarily interested in
housing on the coast
For a long time, housing was bought up in Bulgaria. Now this country has somewhat lost its position in the real estate market. In 2019, there was a boom in real estate in Cyprus due to changes in legislation. When purchasing housing for 300 thousand euros or more, a person immediately received a residence permit. Since Cyprus is part of the European Union, a residence permit allows you to travel throughout Europe without a visa.
Due to affordable prices, people often buy apartments or houses in Poland, Montenegro, the Czech Republic and other countries. Recently, real estate in Turkey has also become popular, especially in resort regions. Housing sales start here from 600 euros per square meter on the primary market. New complexes are located on the first and second lines from the sea. Apartments can be used for personal living or rental. In this case, the investment will quickly pay off.
Many people can buy property abroad. Most European countries have loyal requirements for non-residents and affordable housing prices. Buying an apartment abroad can be the first step towards immigration or an additional source of income.
