The mayor of Omoa, Domingo Menjivar, ordered police to keep any tattooed person off the coast. "Tourists come to us to have fun and relax at our resort," Menjivar said, "and therefore we want them to have a pleasant memory of our city. No one with tattoos will enter Omoa during the Easter holidays. We must guarantee the safety of people and are not going to allow the incidents that occurred here previously," the mayor concluded.
