Tourists are attracted to Egypt not only by the pyramids, but also by the beaches of the Red Sea
It must be said that tours to Egypt are perhaps the most popular among our compatriots along with trips to Turkey. This is easily explained by their affordability from a financial point of view. Many of us, even the less affluent, can afford such trips. Save up a little, set aside a couple of paychecks – and you're all set, a vacation in Egypt awaits you!
Let's return to the main question of our narrative: can you spend your vacation in this wonderful country in the summer? The air temperature in the summer months reaches 40 degrees in the shade (believe me, tested from personal experience: being outside even in the shade at such a time is very difficult). But what attracts us to a vacation in Egypt at this time, when you can find plenty of other places to go? All of Europe is open to you, plus Turkey, Cyprus, and many other countries. Moreover, as already mentioned, tours to Egypt in the summer are accompanied by not the most comfortable temperature.
But there is a positive nuance here. In winter (this applies to January and February), it is quite cool in the evenings, the temperature can drop to 15 degrees. Plus, at this time, Egypt may experience the so-called wind season. This means the winds can be strong, making it difficult to be on the beach even during the daytime. But this is not an axiom; it is quite possible that the weather is good in these months as well.
We have come to the conclusion that the season in the country lasts almost all year round (with the possible exception of July and August). But even in these months, which are exceptions, vacations in Egypt are in demand on our market. There are a certain number of people who try to save on travel and go on a trip exactly at this time.
Why do people go to Egypt in the summer? Because the heat during the day is just a small negative point, which is offset by the comfortable (unlike winter) temperature in the evening and at night. The Red Sea, which is the main reason that prompts people to buy tours to Egypt, is also maximally warmed and conducive to pleasant swimming. And many of those who come to the country spend 2-3 hours in the water every day (not to mention divers).
Of course, a vacation in Egypt is not only water activities and admiring marine flora and fauna, but this aspect is very important. Therefore, it is worth mentioning the pools in hotels, which do not warm up to the required temperature in winter. But summer turns out to be more suitable for those who like to spend time on loungers by the pools.
We hope we have given some comments on the most suitable periods for trips to this wonderful country. Now it's up to you, do everything to make your trip memorable!
