UIA ranked first in a special survey by the administration of UK airports, conducted among 28 airlines operating scheduled international flights from Gatwick. According to the survey, 100% of UIA flights were dispatched on schedule or with a delay of less than 15 minutes. The average delay was 2 minutes. Over six months, the technical reliability rate of the airline's Boeing-737 aircraft is estimated at 99.6%.
According to the airline's press service, such results were achieved through the use of new equipment and the introduction of modern passenger service technologies. As part of this strategy, the company plans to begin operating two more new Boeing-737-400 and Boeing-737-300 aircraft in April of this year.
Currently, UIA operates 140 scheduled flights per week to about 3,000 destinations worldwide. The company has interline agreements with 126 global airlines, according to Travel.ru.
