In first place, undoubtedly, is Prague, where on Old Town Square around the country's main Christmas tree, trading rows are set up. According to iLoveCz.ru, it received 30% of the votes from those who participated in the survey.
In second place with 11% of the votes are two markets organized in Brno: on Freedom Square and at the city exhibition center. Third place (9% of respondents) went to the market at Krivoklat Castle, not far from Prague. Despite being held here only on weekends before Christmas, such a number of concerts and theatrical performances can only be found in the capital. Moreover, a real steam train runs from Prague and Pilsen to the castle, attracting many tourists.
Fourth and fifth places were taken by Christmas markets in the UNESCO-listed Cesky Krumlov and the Hussite stronghold of Tabor.
