Austria is not only fantastically beautiful lakes, but also mountain horseback rides, during which you can admire the most picturesque nature. There is no noise of resort towns, no bustle of hurried residents. It is silence and tranquility, an opportunity to be alone with nature, listen to the birds sing, and feel yourself a part of the vast world.
Ecologically, Austria is a unique country, and it's not just about its special climate. The water of the lakes of Carinthia is so clean that locals easily quench their thirst with it without any treatment or boiling. Speaking of the lakes of this federal state, the following cannot be omitted: Wörthersee, Klopeiner See, Millstätter See. Lake Wörthersee, for example, maintains a water temperature of up to 27°C throughout the summer, but even in late autumn warm days are quite common here. The lake is comfortably situated at an altitude of 485 meters above sea level, and mountain peaks are reflected in its water with stunning beauty. The most positive emotions will be provided by an excursion to the Minimundus park, located in the capital of Carinthia. Translated, the name of this park means "world in miniature", and indeed, Minimundus is essentially an open-air museum that has collected reduced copies of architectural masterpieces from around the world.
Another lake region is the resort area "Salzkammergut". Surfing, diving, rowing – active recreation on the lakes of Wallersee, Mondsee, Wolfgangsee and many others will definitely not leave fans of water sports indifferent. Lake Wolfgangsee is fringed by rocky mountains, and by railway it is possible to climb to a height of up to 1200 meters and from there marvel at the views of lakes lost among the mountain ranges.
Of course, lovers of cultural pastime will not refuse a trip to the capital of Austria and at the same time the capital of music – the city of Vienna. Tourists will also fall in love with the town of Baden, located a short distance from Vienna, which has earned the status of a very romantic place.
