At a meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria Dimitar Hadzhinikolov and Bulgarian tour operators, the issue of suspending mass construction that creates obstacles to a full-fledged rest for tourists was discussed. It was decided that construction works on the Golden Sands (Varna) will be suspended on May 1. On the Sunny Beach this will happen on May 15, reports Travel.ru.
In early May, three thousand foreign tourists will come to Golden Sands. By April 5, construction sites at the resort must be fenced off. By the end of May, sidewalks, flower alleys and recreation areas will be put in order. Three variants of the resort's transport scheme have also been developed, which provide for one-way traffic, entry into the resort territory by passes, and the presence of four checkpoints - two for entry and two for exit.
Entertainment facilities at the resort will operate until 23:00. Security is introduced from June 1 to the end of October, police officers and fire safety services will monitor the maintenance of order.
