Up to 3 years old
With such a small child, doctors do not recommend drastically changing the climate and advise vacationing closer to home. But if you want to take your child to the sea, the best choice is the coast of the Sea of Azov. The advantages of such a vacation are sandy beaches and a mild climate. In June, there are no strong winds or scorching heat at the sea. The cheapest, but also least comfortable vacation in Russia is at the resorts of the city of Yeysk. If you go to Ukraine, it is better to go to Yevpatoria or Skadovsk. The water there warms up earlier than at other Black Sea resorts. Also in Ukraine, the resorts of the Berdyansk Spit are good. The sanatoriums of Berdyansk are famous for their therapeutic muds. Courses of such treatment will cost several times less than foreign ones and two to three times cheaper than in Sochi.
For vacations with toddlers among the Black Sea resorts, Anapa is the best choice. It is no wonder it is famous as a children's resort. Most hotels even have special rooms for resting with infants (cot, stroller, high chair, baby bath). A stroller will be very useful if you bring it with you. In the stroller, the baby can rest if tired from walking, or sit as in a lounge chair.
From 3 to 7 years old
At this age, children already tolerate climate change and air travel normally, and adapt more easily to unfamiliar food and water. The recommended resorts are the same as for under 3 years old, but you can also add foreign ones: the sea coast of Bulgaria and Croatia (Adriatic Sea). For a family vacation in Bulgaria, the best are Golden Sands and Kranevo.
From 7 to 12 years old
Children of this age are not satisfied with just splashing in the sea and playing on the beach with other kids. They need entertainment. Therefore, it is better to choose resorts located near amusement parks or water parks. The most economical option is a vacation in Spain. On the coast there are safari parks, aquariums, and amusement parks. Admission prices are lower than in Russia, and the rides are much more interesting. If you are specifically interested in water parks, the best ones are in Portugal. They are both the most interesting and the cheapest. Such places are always full of foreigners – Americans, Japanese, Europeans.
From 12 and older
Often children at this age prefer to vacation separately from their parents. The best option is educational programs with accommodation separate from parents. Parents and children vacation at the same resort, can meet when they want, and do not get tired of constant communication. Such programs are well developed in Turkey, Croatia, and Bulgaria. Another option is when a tour operator selects a hotel for you where separate clubs for teenagers are organized. Then you will live together but vacation separately.
