According to the ministry's study, citizens of Germany earned the most in the republic last year. On average, they received 105,332 crowns monthly (the "gross" salary, before taxes).
In second place were citizens of Slovakia – 37,609 crowns. The third spot was taken by Russians – 36,469, and in fourth place were Romanians – 33,956 crowns. Czech workers in this peculiar ranking ended up only in fifth place. They earned on average 30,865 crowns per month.
As reported by Vinegret.cz, the least earned were citizens of Mongolia, Ukraine and Vietnam – their salary level did not exceed 24 thousand crowns.
"As a rule, German citizens work in international companies, where they hold leading managerial positions. As for the workforce from the East, it is about manual labor," commented the study by the chief economist of Raiffeisenbank, Helena Horská.
