Visa validity
The dates of its validity are indicated in the upper right corner of the visa. The first date is the day the visa becomes valid, the other date is the day it expires. For example, 24/08/03 means that the visa expires on 24 August 2003. This is the day you must leave the country.
Documents for extension of short-term visas must be submitted to the police of the Czech Republic at least three days before the visa expires. For long-term work, business visas, and family reunification visas, this must be done no later than three weeks before the expiry of the visa.
Obligations of a foreigner
Within 3 working days after arriving at the place of stay in
the Czech Republic, a foreigner must appear
at the police for registration. When staying in a hotel or another similar establishment, the institution itself carries out the registration.
Keep the second part of the registration card with the KKP stamp to present it at the border when leaving the Czech Republic.
In case of a change of place of employment, a foreigner must contact the police to obtain a new visa.
Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in the cancellation of the visa or problems during departure.
Border crossing of the Czech Republic
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that the border police of the Czech Republic may require foreigners to submit the following documents: an invitation to visit the Czech Republic, certified by the foreign police;
or a tourist agency voucher for recreation and tourism trips;
or cash ($35 per person per day) for a tourist trip without an invitation from the Czech Republic or tourist agency services;
a registration card, which every applicant receives simultaneously with the visa in the passport. One part serves for entry, the other - with a label on the back - for departure. In the machine version, you need to sign the card. In the manual version, you need to sign (in the lower right corner), fill in the passport number, visa number (from the passport), indicate the date of birth, purpose of trip, first place of residence in the Czech Republic;
an insurance policy, since in the Czech Republic medical care for Ukrainian citizens is provided only on a paid basis.
