If a passenger intends to fly with an infant, he must notify the airline at the time of ticket purchase, and baby food for infants during the flight must be provided by the carrier airlines. Liquid medications needed by passengers during the flight must be handed over to airport security personnel during security checks. After appropriate inspection and processing, the medications will be handed over to the aircraft crew and through them to the owner, already during the flight. Transportation of dangerous goods is also prohibited.
As reported by Interfax, the restrictions came into force on March 11 and will remain in effect until the end of the Beijing 2008 Olympics, which will be held in August.
