Studying in the Czech Republic is profitable and convenient
One can understand the logic of businessmen: if a student managed to pass difficult exams in due time and defend his diploma, then, with the right approach, he will be able to bring maximum benefit to the company. The main value of an employee with a diploma from a well-known university is his ability to learn. Practice shows that the most advantageous position is occupied by holders of coveted "degrees" from European universities – a feature of Western education is the emphasis on the practical part of the course, deep assimilation of information that will really be useful to the specialist in the future.
Studying at institutes in Germany, France, or the UK is beyond the means of most of our compatriots. The only option for them to obtain a European education is to enroll in universities in the Czech Republic – according to a recently adopted law, foreigners can be admitted to budget-funded departments there. There is, however, one "but": the educational process within institutions takes place in the state language. Thus, graduating students should attend Czech language courses in advance and pay increased attention to studying linguistic fundamentals.
Actually, at an amateur level, it is possible to learn the language with a self-study book – but when it comes to serious proficiency, you should trust professionals. Moreover, the educational process is conducted in the most effective mode when Czech language courses are supervised by foreign teachers. Students need live communication, which can only be fully provided by native speakers.
In the capital region, such language centers can be counted on one hand – it is clear that people from the provinces should not seriously count on being taught by ethnic Czechs. The obvious way out of the situation is the active use of high information technologies: it is possible to learn Czech online while being at any distance from the educational center. Distance does not matter in this case; the most important thing is the student's great desire to gain new knowledge.
