How to Choose a Hotel Without Being Disappointed?

And others always end up with hotels far from the sea, without their own beach, with a meager menu, broken air conditioners, no gym, no playground, but sometimes with ants and cockroaches… and at double the price!

To always have a good stay in hotels, before your trip you need to find out what the hotel offered by the travel agency or the one you decided to book is like. In this, hotel reviews left by other travelers will help you.

It would seem simple advice, but many tourists do not do it! Why? Some are too lazy, some do not realize, some are used to going with the flow and taking what they are given. For example, many tourists are used to buying tours from travel agencies without checking the quality of the hotel. Some do not even bother to find out if the "all inclusive" program is in effect or if they will only be served breakfast! Their reasoning is: "I still don't know how to book rooms, let someone do it for me." But you can also go to another travel agency!

Others are let down by greed. They buy the cheapest tours, fall for last-minute deals without checking where they will be put up. Or they book the cheapest rooms in the most out-of-the-way hotels, focusing only on price. What can you say? Self-made "greedy Pinocchio."

Another common situation: lack of time to study hotel reviews in detail or plain laziness. In this case, you need to outsource: entrust the choice of hotel to the person you are traveling with. Is he or she also too busy or lazy? Well, it's hard to advise anything then... Except perhaps to turn to well-established travel agencies and buy premium tours. But there is also a problem: how to find out how trustworthy a travel agency is? You will also have to analyze information.

But those travelers who do not seek excuses but take a serious approach to choosing a hotel rarely make mistakes in their expectations. For example, by studying photos, information and reviews of hotels in Thailand, you can find out proximity to the sea, the cleanliness of the beach, the availability of playgrounds, gym, sauna, learn the approximate menu, the size of pools, the furnishings in the rooms. You can compare reviews on service quality, find out whether it is a noisy or secluded place, determine the distance from the airport, interesting sights, Bangkok. In short – glean a wealth of useful information.

If you treat choosing a hotel like a lottery – do not be offended that for every win there are ten failures. Choose your vacation spot wisely!
