Best routes to Hoverla
The Carpathians are beautiful both in winter and summer. You can purchase a tour to Hoverla or climb to the top on your own at any time of the year. Separate routes are laid out for tourists. The ascent along them is much easier.
At the start, you can purchase maps. The routes are indicated on them with lines. The path marked in blue is more difficult. It is along this route that tourist groups are led. The ascent time takes about 2.5 hours – provided you do not make stops.
If you prefer solitude, take the route marked in green. The slopes here are gentler, and there are few travelers. But in the warm season, there are many forest berries – raspberries and blueberries. You can enjoy them to your heart's content.
The climb will leave unforgettable impressions, because the views here are stunning. Coniferous forests, juniper thickets, clean mountain air – all this will remain in your memory for a long time.
If you want to fully enjoy the mountain landscapes, climb up the blue route. But it is best to descend along the green path. You can relax a bit and take in the surroundings.

Where to stay in the Carpathians
Drahobrat is a popular resort in Ukraine. It is located near Hoverla (only 50 km away). Here you can see and photograph the highest mountain even if you did not plan to make the ascent.
The most popular entertainment in Drahobrat is snowboarding and skiing. The necessary equipment can be rented here, at rental points. Prices are quite affordable. You will have a great time, and you can make an organized or independent ascent of Hoverla at any time.
The ski resort is located at the foot of the majestic Mount Stog. Precipitation in this area falls relatively early, so the season opens already in November and lasts until May. There is enough time to ski plenty on the snowy slopes, climb the highest Ukrainian peak, and become the owner of a conqueror's medal.
