The friends arrived in the capital early in the morning, decided not to waste time and immediately headed to the car market. First they waited until most of the sellers had gathered, then they went to examine the cars they liked. Of course, such a wide selection had never been seen at the car market in their city; the guys were even taken aback. If earlier Anton had limited his preferences to two specific car brands, then on the spot everything seemed much more complicated to him – he liked this car and that one too…
They decided not to jump the gun and to end the search for the day. The weekend was ahead and there was time, basically. The friends found out where the nearest hotel was and headed there. First of all, they were surprised by the room prices – they had no idea that spending a night in Moscow was so expensive. So they were even a little glad that there were no vacancies in that hotel.
They decided not to even go to another one – surely the prices there were no lower. They decided to rent an apartment by the day. They chose a one-room apartment not far from the car market. Its cost pleased them much more than the price of the previously offered hotel room; and when they got inside, the atmosphere seemed so homely and cozy that the lack of vacancies in the hotel began to seem like some kind of providence.
In the room there was a comfortable soft sofa and a small bed, a TV, a table and a couple of chairs, on the floor – a soft carpet with long pile. In the bathroom, which, by the way, was very decently equipped in terms of comfort and plumbing, there was everything needed to lie quietly and relax in the bath. There was even a washing machine.
The kitchen in the apartment was equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, microwave oven and toaster. On the shelves there was all the necessary dishes, in the cupboard – tea bags, sunflower oil, salt, sugar – basic necessities.
In short, the apartment appealed to the guys. That day they left all business and just relaxed – took baths, had lunch and dinner, watched TV and, of course, discussed what car they should choose tomorrow.
The next morning they went to the car market again. On the way they paid for the apartment for two more days, as they understood that not only the choice but also the paperwork for the car awaited them. It took them several hours to inspect the models they liked; they finally made their choice closer to evening.
The choice fell on a 2007 Mercedes GL 450. The paperwork procedure was to be done the next day; today they were already exhausted, so they hurried to their 'temporary home'. They rested, as they say, like at home; it seemed only their beloved wives were missing.
In the morning they went to deal with the documents; everything, fortunately, went smoothly without a hitch. And already in the new car, Anton and Sasha drove to the apartment where they had lived for those two days, quickly took a shower, returned the keys, and, satisfied, set off under their own power to their hometown.
