The main problem that a housewife who wants to go abroad faces is obtaining documents
Spending a few days on an exciting trip to European countries – what could be better as a gift, for example, for the New Year? And you need to think about such a gift now: because in the last months of the outgoing year, any tours for New Year become the subject of a rush.
In addition to buying the tour itself, those who are traveling abroad for the first time must have all the necessary documents prepared. And while people who are employed and have a certain level of income usually do not have particular problems with paperwork, Ukrainian women who are homemakers may encounter some obstacles. However, if you prepare for the process in advance, everything will go smoothly!
What documents does a housewife need to collect before contacting a travel agency? As a rule, the requirements for everyone who wants to travel abroad on a package tour are standard:
1. A foreign passport. It must be valid for another 6 months after the planned trip.
2. Two photos 3.5x4.5 cm. They must be taken against a light background, and the face must be at least 80% visible.
3. Photocopies of all pages of the Ukrainian citizen's passport that contain any markings.
4. Photocopies of birth and marriage certificates.
5. A photocopy of the identification code. All copies must be of good quality: without creases, very clear.
6. A valid certificate of income from the place of employment for the last 6 months. The income must be several thousand hryvnias per month. This is necessary so that the person can prove that they can financially afford the prices for New Year tours.
7. A questionnaire is filled out at the travel agency.
A housewife, as a rule, cannot provide a certificate of income, so such a document can be provided by one of her relatives – for example, her husband. To do this, you need to draw up the appropriate document with a notary, which must state that a certain person is financing the tourist trip. In this case, the sponsor must have an income of at least the above amount.
Not all people have such a high income. In this case, there is a backup option – you need to show a bank account that contains at least 18 thousand hryvnias. The same should be done by pensioners who are unable to show a certificate of high income.
After all the necessary documents have been submitted to the travel agency and a suitable tour has been selected, you need to obtain a visa. This is done at the consulate, if we are talking about Schengen countries. The visa is paid separately, its cost is several tens of euros.
Sometimes the consulate may refuse to issue a visa to a certain person, and the money is not refunded. To be on the safe side, you can provide documents for a car, real estate, thereby demonstrating the presence of valuable property that not only keeps a person in the homeland but also guarantees their solvency.
