For a trip to Honduras, our citizens need a visa, which can be obtained based on an invitation. In some cases, it is also necessary to provide confirmation of ability to pay expenses during the stay in the country.
To apply for a visa, you need to provide a foreign passport, a completed application form, 3 photographs, a salary certificate from the place of employment, documents confirming solvency (credit cards, checks, documents proving property ownership).
However, gathering documents for a visa is only half the battle. Since there is no diplomatic representation of Honduras either in Ukraine or in neighboring Russia, it is also necessary to find a place where this Honduran visa can be obtained.
According to the website of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the nearest diplomatic mission of Honduras is in Paris. Experienced travelers, however, report their successful experience of obtaining a visa at the Honduran embassy in Ecuador.
