Where Ukrainians Prefer to Vacation

Turkey leads (34.8% of respondents), specifically the resort of Antalya. This country is mainly chosen by young people aged 20 to 29 from cities with a population of more than 500,000 in the eastern part of Ukraine, with a high or above-average standard of living.

The country of pyramids takes second place in the ranking. Young people under 30 prefer to go to Egypt (15.4%), with more from western than eastern regions of the country. These are people with a high standard of living, living in cities with a population of 100,000 or more.

Very young Ukrainians - under 20 - love the Greek island of Crete, which ranks third. Those who would like to go to Greece (8.2%) live in cities with a population of 500,000 and in Kyiv.

Bulgaria (6.8%) is mainly chosen by the older generation - 50-59 years old, residents of the capital and cities with a population of more than 500,000. Ukrainians with both high and low income levels want to go there.

The list of favorite vacation countries also includes: Italy (5.4%), Spain (3.9%), France (2.9%) and the Canary Islands (1.7%). These countries are chosen by people with above-average income levels.

Among the countries Ukrainians want to visit the least are Russia and the USA (1.6% each), the United Arab Emirates (1.5%), the Hawaiian Islands (1.4%), Tunisia (0.9%), the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, Montenegro (0.7% each), Israel and the Czech Republic (0.6% each).
