And, of course, a wedding in Prague or somewhere else abroad is discussed and planned completely differently, and certainly with the participation of relatives and those expecting an invitation.
If, nonetheless, you decide to hold the celebration in a small restaurant and the number of guests is quite small, you can take into account each guest's food preferences and order a menu accordingly. If there are more than 20 guests, it is necessary to make a pre-paid order of several dishes. Usually, the wedding banquet is paid in full, with 100% prepayment.
Most often, traditional wedding banquets are feasts with many delicious dishes. But you can also break with customs – for example, offer guests a buffet option. A big disadvantage of restaurants and banquet halls is that, as a rule, they provide their services until a certain hour, after which they close, so the feast, dancing, and partying until morning must either be moved to another prepared location or simply stopped.
If the wedding event takes place in the summer and the premises allow, you can arrange a reception for guests in the garden or yard, or even have a 'wedding picnic'. The garden is fresh air, a cozy setting, and a homey atmosphere. Trees and flowers everywhere – on tables, on hats, in hands, anywhere, as long as it doesn't burden the guests. The most important thing is that the weather is favorable, but in case of rain, the hosts should have special tents in stock. Also, do not forget about dance floors, resting areas, and personal hygiene facilities for guests.
The next option for a wedding banquet is a party organized at home. Such a wedding is usually designed for a small number of guests (unless you own a mansion). In terms of cost, it will be cheaper than holding a wedding in the Czech Republic or Italy, but it should be noted that in this case, the cooking, cleaning, and entertainment will fall entirely on the shoulders of the hosts. This means they are unlikely to be able to sit at the wedding table. If you hire waiters and a cook, the event will be no cheaper than in a regular banquet hall. At the same time, you cannot avoid the hassle of food delivery and house cleaning.
There are many more ways to celebrate this grand event in your life. It all depends on you and your desires. You can organize something extreme or romantic, or you can simply sign the papers and, after receiving the certificate, fly off to the Maldives! In short, nowadays there are plenty of opportunities, and you will definitely find an option that suits both your dreams and your wallet.
